Overview
GrowthRefuge ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website at https://growthrefuge.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what we do with it. We collect the minimum necessary to run the business and we never sell your data.
What we collect
- Contact information, consisting of your name and email address when you submit an enquiry or book a call via Cal.com.
- Usage data, including standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referral source) retained for up to 90 days for security and performance purposes.
- Communication records, which includes emails you send us at hello@growthrefuge.com, stored for the duration of our business relationship.
- Cal.com booking data, meaning the name, email, and scheduling information processed by Cal.com under their own privacy policy. We do not store this data ourselves beyond the meeting record.
How we use your data
- To respond to enquiries and fulfil service agreements.
- To send you information you have explicitly requested.
- To improve the website's performance and security.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your data for targeted advertising. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
Third-party processors
We use a small number of processors to run the business:
- Cal.com for appointment scheduling. Data is governed by cal.com/privacy.
- Hosting provider for website hosting. Standard server-log data is processed by our infrastructure provider.
Each processor is bound by a data processing agreement. We choose processors that operate under GDPR-adequate frameworks where applicable.
Cookies
This website currently uses only essential cookies required for the site to function (e.g. session state). We do not use tracking pixels, third-party analytics scripts, or advertising cookies. If this changes, this policy will be updated before any new cookies are deployed.
Data retention
We retain contact and communication data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. We will hold it for whichever period is longer. Server logs are deleted after 90 days. You can request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@growthrefuge.com.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including: access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion ("right to be forgotten"), portability, and the right to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@growthrefuge.com. We will respond within 30 days.
